We're Adam and Lindsay Clarkson, traveling with our three kids, Lily, Cora, and Harper. We've spent a lot of time in Japan across multiple trips — and every time we plan one, the same question comes up: can we actually afford this?

This site is our running answer. Every post is a real place, meal, or activity from one of our own trips, with the real price we paid (or the fact that it was free), so you can plan your own trip without guessing.
